 BABY CONTEST RULES 1. Contest open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., except employees (and their families) of Drake's Dresser. Contest begins 9:00 A.M. EST on March 27, 2008, and ends 11:59 P.M. CST June 30, 2008. One entry per child (or per set of twins/triplets, etc., if applicable), either by mail or e-mail. 2. Submit an original color photo of your child in their clothes from Drake's Dresser with parents' name, child's name, address, e-mail address, and phone number by e-mail to photos@drakesdresser.com or by mail to 2310 SE Delaware Avenue, Suite 107, Ankeny, Iowa 50021. (You may enter twins, triplets, etc. as one entry. Hereafter "Child" shall refer to a single child or collectively to twins/triplets, etc., as applicable.) 3. Child in photo must be 4 years of age or younger. Entrant represents and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original, non-published work that does not infringe any privacy, intellectual property or other rights of any third parties. By entering, entrant represents that he or she owns or has the rights to convey any and all right and title in the submitted photo; and by entering, entrant conveys and assigns to Drake's Dresser all rights of ownership, title, interest, and all other intellectual property rights, including without limitation, copyright in and to the photo, should it be the winning photo. All other entrants (i.e. those whose entries are not the winning photograph), by entering the contest, grant Drake's Dresser a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free copyright license to publish their submitted photos and to republish them at any time in the future. LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER OR VANDALIZE THIS WEB SITE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 4. All entries become property of Drake's Dresser and will not be returned. 5. In consideration of judges' review of entries, parents/guardians who enter the contest grant permission (except where prohibited by law) to Drake's Dresser to use and license photos/images of the Child in the submitted photo(s) (along with their names, likeness, and any other information provided by Entrant) for possible editorial or promotional/advertising uses in any and all media without further compensation. We will not disclose child or parent/guardian addresses on the website or to anyone not affiliated with Drake's Dresser. 6. Drake's Dresser and its affiliates are not responsible for technical failures in entry transmission or lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail, or any damage to participants' computers relating to information about or participation in the contest. 7. The winner will have a choice of: - Disney Florida Holiday - 4 days/3 nights complimentary lodging for 2 adults at a resort hotel in Orlando, Florida, located just minutes from Disney World. Includes 2 tickets to Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Islands of Adventure, plus many other choices available. You also get over $1,000 in coupons for food, entertainment, activities, and dinner shows around the Orlando area. You can also add children for a small fee. They require a $35/pp processing fee and 60 days advance reservation for processing. - Carnival or Royal Caribbean Cruise: 5 day/4 night cruise for 2 adults on either Carnival or Royal Carribbean cruise lines. You have your choice of at least 3 ports to depart from. With this cruise you sleep onboard the ship, and all meals and onboard and entertainment are included. The current port charges are approximately $80-120 per person. This cruise requires a $75 /pp non-refundable processing fee and at least 90 days advance reservation. - Vacation for Two: Round-trip passage aboard the Discovery I or the Seascape from Port Everglades to Freeport, Grand Bahamas Island. This is about a 6-hour cruise with your meals and entertainment included onboard. Once you reach Freeport enjoy 4 days & three nights accommodations at the Island Palms Resort. (Other upgrade options available) Then you get back aboard ship for the return cruise to Florida. This trip requires a 60 day advance reservation. The cost is approximately $152 per person for processing and port fees/taxes, and $12-$14 per person per day for hotel, tax & gratuities on the island. This is a total of about $388.00 for two people. ($1,000.00 value) Children can be added to any of the above vacations for an additional fee. There will be one runner-up that will have a choice of the remaining two vacations. 8. The winner will be posted on the home page of the Drake's Dresser website on or shortly after July 4, 2008, and notified via e-mail. |
